How can Indian football become better ?

Who's 97th place in the FIFA rankings ? It is a country which is filled with 1.3 Billion people. So many people, but then why so bad at football ? The obvious answer would've be 'not many play', but that isn't true. In almost every outdoor sport, a person tends to kick something out of frustration, boredom, disappointment or just with laziness. Many, many people in India would have played football occasionally, but prefer a different sport to it. And many of those people whose favorite sport is football, don't turn out to be pretty good. But India also has disadvantages. Most Indians are kind of puny, compared to Europeans or Americans. India also focuses more on other sports than on football. But then, how will Indian football improve ? The answer is simple : make as many Fields as you can and get young people to play in their. But by fields, I mean those which are open to everybody. Maybe ISL was a good initiative towards Indian football. Actually I am t...

How will the 2022 World Cup play out ?

All the focus is currently on the approaching World Cup in Russia. Brazil, Germany, Argentina, France, Portugal and Spain are the favourites to win this one. Neymar, Kroos, Messi, Griezmann and Ronaldo, what will be their case ? Here we discuss the scenario of the 2022 World Cup and the things that would have changed. Argen tina will be below par Argentina will  have too many old players in the majority of their squad. Aguero, Mascherano, Di Maria and Messi will not be at their best. There will be a lot of pressure on Dybala as he is their best young player right now. I predict that Argentina will get knocked out in the quarter finals. Germany will be strong, but bori ng Germany is such a team which never needs to worry about replacements as it has so many good footballers. But their way of football will be too ordinary unlike that of Brazil or Spain. Spain and France are going to be unstoppable Both the Spanish and the French teams, like Germany, have no shortage of young...

What if PSG qualifies to the champions league quarters ?

Real Madrid recently defeated PSG 3 - 1 in the bernabeu. That is definitely great for them. But what if they crumble in the parc des princes ? Let's now take a look at the things which might happen if they bow down to the money - minded magicians of Paris. Paris are going to win the title Well if they do defeat los blancos, then they're going to be very confident. It would mean an inspiring comeback and a bright future. After that probably, no team on the planet would be willing to go against them. The MEN ( Mbappe, Edinson and Neymar ) would also be known as the world's best attacking trio. Zizou will be sacked If such a huge shock should come to Real, the least they can probably do is to remove Zidane and get somebody else. He failed in the la Liga, the Copa del Rey and he cannot do the same to the Champions League. If so, then an ideal replacement could be Luis Enrique. Neymar will win Ballon d' or Even if the most expensive player plays a bit below par in a ...

What's going on in the bottom of the La Liga table ?

Many people know the status of the top of the La Liga table. It's like most times : Barca, Atletico, Valencia and Real. But w hat isn't is eye-catching are the things happening down below. Las Palmas are currently 18th with 18 points, only two behind Levante. Below them are surprisingly Deportivo La Coruna with 17 points. But most shockingly it is Malaga who are last with only 13 points to their name. Malaga have always been a team whom big teams look down upon to, but end up getting a bad result with them. What is even more surprising is that they haven't lost by big margins at all. It is their attack which has been letting them down. 17th placed Levante should be careful now as a couple of bad results can see them drop to 19th place. 16th placed Espanyol don't have much to worry as they have 25 points. Three things Ernesto Valverde should do against Chelsea

Barca just defeated Eibar 2-0 and even though it wasn't the most convincing game, they have enough confidence to face the blues. Here are three things Ernesto Valverde should do against Chelsea :- Use 4-4-2 As of late, Barca's midfield has looked a little shaky. They were a bit down against Espanyol, Getafe and Eibar. Also, Coutinho is going to miss this as he is not allowed to play the Champions League for the remainder of this season. But then why four midfielders ? Simple, to help shape their attack. I would say they go with Busquets, Rakitic, Iniesta and Paulinho. Dembele can come in later on. Paulinho can act like an attacking midfielders to help Messi and Suarez. Play Yerry Mina Tackling the likes of Alvaro Morata, Olivier Giroud, Eden Hazard, Willian and Pedro requires a lot of strength from the Barca defence. Even though Pique and Umtiti are both strong, neither of them matches Yerry Mina's height, strength and agility. I say that he should get some playing tim...

One year of Barca 6 - 1 PSG

It's now one year of La Remontada, the greatest comeback in the history of football. And oh, so many things have changed... Most notably with money. It all started when the Barca team travelled to Paris for their Champions league round of 16 clash against Paris SG and received the shock of their lives when they lost 4-0. PSG were definitely the better team then. But what happened after that is much better... In early March the two teams met again but this time in Barcelona . The Barca players were far better and they scored six with conceding only one. Suarez scored early followed by Kurzawa's own goal. Messi then put in a penalty. After that Cavani scored for PSG to give them the advantage of an away goal. Neymar then scored from a free kick before completing his brace from the penalty spot. In the dying seconds Neymar assisted Sergi Roberto to complete the comeback. Let's now see what all has changed in one year... Neyma r's transfer to PSG In August, Neymar himse...
